Esta tarde, mientras sesteaba viendo por enésima vez Notting Hill en TVE, he vuelto a darme cuenta de que parte, una gran parte, del éxito de esta y de otras comedias románticas parecidas es su banda sonora.

Y así, mientras reía de nuevo con los calzoncillos que lleva Rhys Ifans a lo largo de la película, he vuelto a disfrutar con unas cuantas baladas.
Así, en este filme suenan, entre otras canciones, When you say nothing at all, interpretada por Ronan Keating; You’ve got a way with me, por Shania Twain, y She, por Elvis Costello.
Ahora mismo no puedo dejar de tararear la primera (os dejo una curiosa versión del propio Keating) y también Ain’t No Sunshine, de Bill Withers, con una de las mejores escenas del paso del tiempo que tiene la película.
